ok, what I said about the council- forget it. all of it. well, almost all of it. I have a much better idea... i can't tell you all of it right now, but I'll clear all of this up real soon....just keep checking, and i'll post it up here someday.

The council

Ok, upcoming, I will be mentioning th council of Sarash. It is just a group of people(and creature) that protect sarash, and the good magic within sarash, also known as jykez. The leader is the ruler of the capital city of Mayur: Imalla Aryah Cleadone. The members of the council include people that represent many of the cultures in Sarash:
Denier- represents suthern mayur
Peya- represents the jykez of the westward island
Eguelina- represents Sunstar(a very important tribe)
Clenara(fairy) - represents Phashni
Lilyandra(fairy) - represents all fairys and Tyun
Kalak- represents warriors of sarash
kanayel - represents pelens
fuilot- represents pruka
juot- represents vedni
gorsen- represents Sleenon

I may add more, but thats it for now, Shalanya is part of the council, but only as a trained asassin and spy. (her trainer is Kalak) Shalanya is very important to the council, because she id their only asassin/spy. kind of stupid if you ask me but hey, what can I do about it?

Countries

Sarásh is a land of five countries, mayur being the largest, and the westward island following, then maghun, phashni, and tyun after that. Here are the characteristics of the five. This is very stereotypical. Not everyone in the book matches his/her's country's discription.

Mayur: large, with small islands around the mainland. pleasant, zealous, and peace-loving peaple. medium skin, brown hair, with brown or green eyes, average.

Westward Island: Medium, isolate, enemys with mayur. cautious, protective peaple, who are kind IF they trust you. medium skin, dark hair, with black, brown, or gray eyes, some-what short.

Maghun: small, alliance with tyun, dangerous bluffs on west side. very generous peaple who seem to always be smiling unless there is war. light to medium skin, very dark hair, very dark blue eyes, tall.

Phashni: small, neutral, mountainous. kind, peace-lovers, with a love of nature and greek mythology. light skin, light hair, blue eyes, tall.

Tyun: very small, rich forested land, alliance with maghun. the peaple are kind, but some-what short-tempered. light skin, very dark hair, light eyes, average hight.

Horse or Pelen?

ok. Throughout Sarásh you can find both horses and pelens. Horses are more common, but pelens are not considered 'rare' either. Pelens are very fast in air and on the ground. They are small usually only about 5-5 to 6 foot max. they are small, but extremely powerful. Pelens may not be uncommon but they are still very beautiful and mystical creatures. Horses can be found anywhere, and are treated very well. Whips are not an option, anyone found to be abusing a horse or a pelen can be executed. lets just say animal abuse is not a problem.....

The deal with swords

Swords are important. Very important. Royalty always name their swords, and commoners may if they wish. Names of swords are important though, they must have meaning. Most swords are very plain, a regular sword with a handle of silver or bronze. Royalty, people who have matered swordplay, those blessed(or cursed) with Xial, or warriors may have fancier sword with handles that wrap around the hand in the shape of a dragon, sea serpant, etc. It is rare, but some swords may have a stone in the center. This is important. Those with either ruby, saphire, emerald, amathyst, or diamond have the power to possess Xial. Most people don't know this, even if they have been blessed with the power to possess Xial. Many swords have inscriptions or courage and hope in the ancient tribal languages. Swords rock, therefore, they are important to understand.

Mysticalities...

As of right now, I have and will have in all four mystical creatures. I may add more, cuz i love mystical creatures. Right now I have to following:

• Vedni
• Pruka
• Sleenin
• Pelen

The Vedni is a large coyote with the legs of a deer, to put it simply. They have the ability to read minds and some have the ability to 'cloak' themselves, or make themselves sort of invisilble. A Pruka is a bird that is dragon-like, but much smaller than a dragon. maybe two to three feet in length. They practically breathe Xial. Like a dragon they do breathe some sort of substance. the substance that Pruka breathe, however, is not fire, but a warm blue gasseous substance that is made of Xial. This substansce is extremely dangerous. Sleenon are dark brown/black tigers with light stripes that can range from white to blue to orange. They can be known as the silent tiger, because they are completely silent when they walk. They are very powerful creatures, and are good in battle because of their great speed, and ability to run on two legs. Then of course, there is the Pelen. A small horse with wings. They can come in brown white grey or a combination of the three. Many are white with a dappel grey rump. below I will have specific information:

*The Vedni, and the Sleenon can talk just like humans, but the Pruka and the Pelen cannot. All Mystical creatures can communicate silently with their minds.

** Pruka are very unpredictable. They are either very for Zaluch, or very against Zaluch. Very dangerous creatures, you NEVER want to get on their bad side....

***Vedni are almost always against Zaluch, because of a "Vedni Haulocaust" ordered by Zaluch when he first became ruler.

****Sleenon are always against Zaluch unless under a spell of Xial. There is also a variation of sleenon. the cousin, called Slonan. They are ALWAYS for Zaluch.
